Wedding Season
Wedding season is quickly approaching. As of today, we have been invited to 6 weddings. I'll be kicking off the season by attending my friend's bachelorette party this weekend. I'm not a fan of the typical cheap & tacky veils (decorations, games, "straws", etc.) that girls wear when they go out for their party. So, I made this headband for my friend to wear as an alternative. I know that bachelorette parties are suppose to be wild and raunchy, but what's wrong with cute and classy?

At it Again
Yesterday, while Joe and I were watching a movie, I made a few more hair bows. Some of the ribbon I recently purchased to try to make the bows, while some of it was from past projects. Pretty soon Elle will have one for every out-fit. They are actually fun to make. I love seeing the finished outcome. I know, I'm such a dork. I'm going to have to try something a little fancier than the basic bow.Monday, January 12, 2009
I Finally Figured Out What to Use it For
Anyways, I was cleaning up my bow mess this morning, debating where to store my ribbon supply when I spotted the gift my friend Karen gave me for my birthday 2 years ago. It's a tree like structure from IKEA that has been sitting on my bookshelf looking a little lonely. I just didn't know what to do with it until now. It's a perfect spot to hang my spools of ribbon, at least for now.
